Present us with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase. Tell us which competitor is offering the lower price; we will verify the price and that the item is in stock and available for immediate sale and delivery.If our own price is reduced present us with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the difference.

Here are some terms and conditions
The item must be of the same brand and model and located in Canada. The item must be new and factory sealed and subject to a manufacturer’s warranty applicable in Canada. The item must be sold by an authorized dealer located in Canada. Competitors’ prices must be in Canadian dollars and will be adjusted for any fees, taxes or other charges such as environmental handling fees and shipping.
Our Best Buy price match policy does not apply to advertising errors or misprints, Boxing Day prices, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, OEM products, limited or minimum quantity or limited time offers, close-outs, liquidations, clearances, and financing offers.

I try to apply this policy twice at BB store and I waste my time. The person at the customer service desk went to see her manager hiding behind the black curtain, then came back to me repeating ( what I already heard the manager whispering to her) : sorry we can not match the price because the other store show on their website sold out. I say that my friend just bought one at the other store which is just across of the street not on the web site, and there are many left. I gave her the phone number, she went back to her manager then come back and told me that nobody answer… so no matching price. (???) Since I have BB gift -certificates… I will have to buy from them. Another time I show them an add from their competitor… It’s take 4 persons from the customer svc desk to the manager to look at the add, read the fine print, search the date, confirming between them…before matching the price. What a waste of time for me and for their head office that bother to make publicity on their matching price policy.
I had been on the lookout for a low price on Bose AC3 headphones and found them at a significant discount (299$ from 399$) at another website. The price was for pick-up only in Toronto (i’m in Montreal).
I called BB before making the purchase. Showed them the website etc…
They agreed to not only match but also beat the price by 10%. So i got my headphones at less than 300$ including taxes.
BB doesn’t mess around with the policy. If it is clearly within their policy range, they apply it no matter what. They got my vote for standing behind their word and this means a lot for a consumer like me.
Thing is they must make sure that the offer is valid otherwise, you know people will rape them out of that policy and ruin it for everyone else.

This information is out of date. Best Buy no longer beats the lower price by 10%, they simply price match since around January of 2020. Check the BB website for confirmation.
