Asking Companies for Coupons – What You Should Say

Today I want to talk to you about how to get companies to send you coupons to your home.

Here is a list of a bunch of Canadian companies that will mail you coupons by calling or emailing them and simply asking for those coupons.

At least once every day, I get an email from somebody, asking me “what do I say to these companies to get them to send me coupons?”. My answer to that is this:

For me, personally, I like to keep it very, very simple. I say the following:

“I love this particular product that you make, this is why I love it, and I was wondering if you had any coupons for that product that you would be able to send me”.

That’s it – it’s simple. That’s all you have to say, and 9 times out of 10, you will receive coupons from that manufacturer.

Keep in mind…

Please note that you will not receive coupons from every single company that you call or email.

Most of the time, they don’t even email you back to let you know whether or not they will be sending coupons to you – they just show up in the mail, or, they don’t.

Another thing to note is that sometimes manufacturers will send coupons to one person and will tell the next person that they don’t send coupons out at all. This means (most of the time) that you just need to email or call them again later.

If a manufacturer tells you that they don’t mail out coupons, and it says on our list that they do send coupons, just try again another time. You may have ended up with a grumpy employee that answered the phone or responded to your email. So, try again.

The list of Canadian companies that we have is updated all the time with new manufacturers that give out coupons to people that ask for them. We also remove companies that no longer send out coupons. This list is always up to date.
