RDSP

The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a registered investment plan administered by the Canadian government, designed to help people with disabilities manage their long term savings.

The plan has a matching component, where the government will deposit up to $3 for every $1 that is contributed by the planholder. In fact, the plan is open to receive contributions from anyone, including family and friends of the account holder.

People with an income below $30,000 can even qualify for an additional $1000 each year, via the Canada Disability Savings Bond. If you or anyone you know could benefit from this program, you can find out more, right here at MapleMoney.
