Have you ever been out shopping and said to yourself “man, I wish there were coupons for _____”? I do that alot! Need a coupon for toothpaste? Got some. Shampoo? Those too. Bread? Uh huh. Garbage bags? Um… no.
Here are a list of coupons I wish there were more of:
Garbage Bags – Not just those big suckers, but the kitchen size bags as well. I don’t think I have EVER seen a coupon for garbage bags and they sure would be nice. I hate having to spend money on something I am just going to throw away, but since bags aren’t free at the stores now (except Walmart), I have to!
Toys – Elliott loves his toys and so do his cousins. We don’t want the kids to have TOO MANY toys, but we do like to get them new stuff every once in awhile. I have seen coupons for toys before, but they are few and far between. Come on, manufacturers! Give us some toy coupons so we will buy your stuff!
Peanut Butter – Richard has oatmeal with peanut butter pretty much every day for breakfast, so we go through this stuff like crazy. The only coupon I have ever seen for it is for Kraft Whipped Peanut butter and.. no thanks. Can’t I just have a coupon for REGULAR PEANUT BUTTER? I don’t even care what the brand is!
Nutella – Oh my gooooooooosh. I freakin’ LOVE Nutella. If I wanted a giant ass, I would eat this stuff on a daily basis. I do wish there were coupons for Nutella so I could enjoy the chocolatey goodness on a more frequent basis.
Honey – Along with the peanut butter, Richard also has honey in his oatmeal every day. We also use honey in many of our meals (don’t judge me!) so we go through alot of honey in this house. I’ve never once seen a coupon for it, but would very much love to! I can promise I would make good use of those coupons!
Coke – We are Diet Coke fanatics and would love some money saving coupons so we don’t blow our grocery budget buying case after case of this yummy drink!
Bacon – There have been a few coupons for bacon before but it is not often that you see them. Bacon makes my tummy happy and it would make my bank account happy if I didn’t have to pay so much for this delicious meat.
Canned Tomatoes – I like to make my own pasta sauce and chili so I use alot of canned tomatoes. We probably use a can or two every week. That’s like $4-$8 a month on tomatoes. OH EM GEE! Gimmie some coupons, dang it!
Quaker Instant Oatmeal – How much oatmeal do we go through in a week? Ohhhh, I’d say at least 20 packets. For serious, dudes! All 3 of us eat the stuff alot, so some coupons would be nice! I know, I know, I should just make it myself… and I will…. eventually. You know, when I’m not so damn lazy.
Aluminum Foil – When I’m cooking, I like to avoid messes at all costs. One of the ways I do this is by putting aluminum foil on my baking sheets every time I put something in the oven. This way, I just throw out the foil and then I have no baking sheet to wash! I know, I am a genious. I have only ever seen one coupon for aluminum foil and it was something ridiculous, like .75 off a $3 roll. I’m sorry, but I’d rather buy the no-name stuff for half the price – no coupon needed! If there were better coupons, I would love some aluminum foil ones. Pretty please?
So that’s my coupon wishlist. What’s on yours?
