Have you been following my Organized Basement posts? Today I finished part 2 of a 3 part organization job in the basement. This time it was the home storage area of the basement where we keep lots of random junk such as extra cords, painting supplies, clothes Elliott has out-grown (saving for when we eventually have another baby), tax papers, Christmas decorations, etc.
This area was SUCH a mess. I am SO SO HAPPY that it is finally cleaned and organized! I was so proud of myself that I went out and bought me one of these bad boys:
A chest freezer! Finally!

When I was finally finished, there was a ton of garbage and recycling to go outside, and lots of STUFF that needed to go upstairs:

Ahhhhhhhhh yes. All done! That was the hardest part, I’m so glad it’s finally over with! Next week I need to finish up the basement organization by organizing the gift storage area and a few other random areas in the basement.
