Opinion Outpost is one of the survey sites that actually offer you the chance to redeem points for cash. You are paid through PayPal when you choose the cash option. You can also earn Amazon gift vouchers and be entered to win quarterly cash drawings.
With Opinion Outpost, you take paid online surveys and earn points for each one to complete. You are sent a survey based on your profile and the goals of the client. This means that you might not always be invited to participate.

With Survey Junkie, you receive credits immediately upon completing a survey, and they offer a low payout threshold. At $10, it’s well below the minimum payout level of many other sites. Branded Surveys is a US-based market research firm and paid survey site that is also active in Canada and the UK. Membership is free, and you receive 100 points just for signing up. As with other paid survey companies, Branded will have you complete a personal profile prior to getting started, to make sure that the surveys you’re being sent are relevant to you.
A couple of things I like about Branded Surveys: they have a low payout minimum of $10, which can be redeemed for PayPal Cash as well as free gift cards.
They also have a loyalty program, called Branded Elite, which rewards members with bonus points when they complete extra surveys within a specific time frame. While it’s not going to make you rich, there’s nothing wrong with extra cash in your pocket.

Qbord is owned by a Toronto-based market research company, PMG Intelligence. This is a paid survey company that allows you to earn points in a number of ways. In addition to surveys, you can participate in focus groups, complete polls, ad ratings, and refer friends. The points earned for taking paid surveys vary, depending on survey type and duration.
With Qbord, 100 points have a cash value of $1. Unfortunately, you can’t redeem your points for PayPal Cash, as you can with other providers. Instead, Qbord offers gift cards, as well as prepaid Visa cards, which are very close to cash.

Just an fyi that for a number of these surveys you have to “QUALIFY” to do the survey. If you are not in the right age category (which I seem never to be in) you can’t do the survey.
I agree with Brenda. I spent 20 minutes yesterday answering the same questions over and over on the same survey site only to be told I didn’t qualify for any of the surveys. A waste of time.

It takes atleast 2 to 3 months to get the first payout. Be patient and answer all the surveys. Note the target audience of the surveys, if provided, and answer accordingly.
Web Perspectives is not accepting any new people.
I would be very cautious signing up to any of these survey websites. They acquire tons of your personal information, then after completing the extensive questionnaire you don’t qualify. Or if you had qualified you cannot sign into the website that you just signed up for “Login failed”. Pinecone Research is one of them! This is not a good recommendation.
It’s true that they require personal info before qualifying, but that’s because they need the right demographic samples so that their results are meaningful.
For example, if they already have too many employed males, aged 25-35, with an income over $50,000, who live in eastern Canada, then they might not accept that application.
On the positive side, if they do accept you, they now know who you are. This means they should only send out surveys where you match the demographic. For example, maybe an ad firm representing a product wants to know what magazines and websites women aged 25-45 across Canada read. If you fit that, they might select you from their pool to help represent that demographic.
I should also mention, they don’t do anything externally with your personal data. By the time it gets to that client, you’re just part of the results for that demographic so they know where to spend their ad dollars.

Expert Outpost sucks. The site is slow, there are only a few surveys and you accumulate points very slowly e.g. takes many weeks to just get $5 Amazon cert.
Have been a member of it for years and they have consistently gotten worse; many members have complained but they just aren’t able to pick up the momentum like other survey sites have.
As per my own experiences with this entire list of survey companies that I was also doing surveys for.. Some pay less than
. 50 per survey.. Some make you answer the same questions and surveys over and over.. 2 to 4 of these companies knew I was participating via my mobile
Phone.. Then 3/4 of them I received were not mobile friendly.. Some repeated the little survey multiple times to see if you qualify for the big survey.. A good 7 min of back and forth.. Then they would say I didn’t qualify!! Also I was bombarded by expired surveys every single day.. Like 6 per Company per day!! Then not much for 2-3 days just enough to make you panic then boom again!! I contacted most of these companies to advise. Them of all this, most took three days or so to reply.. I just had enough and unsubscribed..
So that’s my story for you all.. You will most likely start to see these patterns also.. As far as being paid,, still not a dime,quarter, or a Toonie, so from me to you, be careful!!

I have always wanted to participate in these surveys, but just wonder if these surveys are real and my other worry is, you provide them with very crucial personal info so who guarantees for the safety of your information?
Be prepared to spend 30 or 40 minutes completing a survey, and then being told “sorry, you don’t qualify”.
I have belonged to most of these survey sites and I have left most of these survey sites because of their scammy business ethics. If you like being taken advantage of, join them all and good luck! 🙂
Mintvine has completely changed how they work. They used to be one of the better sites. I just left them for scamming me (and taking away ALL of the incentives that kept me there to start with).
In my personal experience with surveys that have been doing for many years is this. As you get older and depending on what age you start at the surveys you qualify for dwindle. Some survey sites that I belong to when I first started sent many surveys and I qualified for all of them. Now this same site has sent me a total of just 10 surveys in all of 2018.
Perhaps the company does not people earning too much money. Total I earned the first year was enough to buy a really nice TV. It would now take me many years to accomplish the same thing.
Have tried a number of these sites including some of the higher profile ones. WASTED MONTHS AND HOURS OF MY TIME FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! In my experience, these sites are GARBAGE and a SCAM….and are looking for poor saps to pay useless points to, or a few pennies or a chance to enter a contest. BIG WHOOP. Don’t fall for this. Your time is more valuable and can be put to better use. This is my review of ExpertOutpost. I am feeling angry and used after finding most of I my points have expired, because they weren’t redeemed within 18 months. If you religiously fill in all their surveys and discussions every week, it takes 6 months to earn the 5,000 points, needed to redeem the minimum rewards of a $5 gift card. However, you have to remember to redeem them on time. Also, if you are too busy to fill in surveys every week, it takes a long time to raise those 5,000 points, and I ran out of time. As far as I’m concerned I’ve been scammed into working for free.

Yes, this is true but still many folks want to try these outdated methods to earn money and sadly this type of job only for students who have loads of free time.

Unfortunately, Ipsos — which always paid very meagrely, but at least sent lots of surveys — has become a frustrating black hole since it “revamped” (I think this means “offshored to Romania”) its website. Survey after survey is sent and, usually after answering a number of questions, you get a message that it isn’t available or that you might have already taken it. The latter is impossible because you can never access the survey itself! Contacting them does not generate a response and they haven’t been candid about making the problems know. Avoid.
